We had Melissa conduct a “Facing Race & Racism” class for our union members. Her workshop was thoughtful and thought-provoking. It is often tough to tackle such high-stakes issues…but SO very important. Melissa was able to guide us and make us all comfortable throughout the process. This allowed us to do the “hard work” of self-exploration and communication about race, bias, discrimination, etc. Our members were left more open-minded and equipped with skills and tools they didn’t have prior to the workshop. We would definitely hire her again for future workshops."
